ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PAINTING AND DRAWING
Heidi Hahn’swork engages the psychological realm of attachment to the female body and how that’s processed through both a traditional and contemporary reading. Solo exhibitions include Bent Idle at Jack Hanley Gallery and Shadows from Other Placesat Premier Regard in Paris. She has participated in numerous group shows, most recently A Dinner Partyat Loyal Gallery in Stockholm, and the Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles. Hahn has been awarded residencies at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and the Headlands Center for the Arts, among others. Her work has been reviewed in Art in America, The New York Times, Art Daily and Blouin Artinfo. Hahn received her BFA from Cooper Union and her MFA from Yale University.
